*Ballet students must wear uniform to class, black leotard, pink tights, pink shoes. Hair must be up off the face.  Students will receive their uniform upon registration. All classes consist of barre warm up, cross floor and center allegro work. Technique is emphasized.  Ballet classes are offered at a variety of levels. Each child will be evaluated for class placement. 

*Pointe classes are available to Advanced ballet students. Teacher placement needed. 

*Hip Hop/Jazz students must wear ballet uniform with added accessories of choice (ex: shorts, leg warmers, tank top) black shoes. Classes consist of warm up, cross floor, choreography and emphasize coordination and rhythm.  

*Creative classes are our pre ballet and jazz classes for tiny tots ages 2-5.. These classes are a combination of ballet, jazz and movement, teaching coordination  and balance to prepare kids for further dance and theatre movement work. 

*Improv everyone can create! This class teaches students to dance from within thenselves, finding inspiration to foster their own creativity. A "free spirit" is needed and a fun attitude. Dance wear required with hair up off the face. 

*MPDC Dance Students are the Intermediate and Advanced students of the studio. Because of the variety of styles needed to be taught and the assortment of classes offered to these students, MPDC studio time will be restructured each week to fit the needs of choreography and technique being worked on. MPDC class time is a group slot wherein ballet, contemporary, lyrical, acro, improv, and hip hop instruction will be provided. 

*Lyra Aerial Dance is a style in which students dance from a metal hoop suspended from the ceiling. This style of dance can be painful and has a higher risk of injury involved. This style also requires increased upper body strength and regular conditioning. 

*Silks Aerial Dance is a style in which dancers hang and twist around silk material suspended from the ceiling. This style of dance can be painful and has a higher risk of injury involved. This style also requires increased upper body strength and regular conditioning.
